Mandy, Pilates & Fitness

Just a quick word about me, Mandy McCarthy. Firstly qualifications as they are important. I hold IIST and ISRM as well as being a YMCA gym instructor and I also hold the Diploma of the Pilates Institute and a Level 3 Diploma in Yoga.

I specialise in sports injuries, remedial body works, advanced anatomy, RSA exercise to music, circuits, step spinning, Khai-Bo, Zumba & dance.

Beginning Pilates


Pilates will take you out of your comfort zone. A beginners class will teach you about body alignment, posture and breathing. You will soon understand the benefits which will change the way you exercise forever!

Advanced Pilates Flow


It will not be long before you graduate to a more advanced class, giving you exercises that will give you the suppleness and sleek look that is the trademark of Pilates.

Pilates has been around for over 70 years, but has recently drawn much media coverage and is widely endorsed by celebrities such as Gwynneth Paltrow and most recently Pippa Middleton. Medical practitioners frequently recommend Pilates.

Being fit and being flexbile should be fun and something you enjoy. At my regular classes in Stanstead Abbots and Ware I make sure you not only look after your health, but after your spirits as well.

I am highly qualified with over 20 years experience, specialising in sports therapy, personal training, weight management,  yoga, Pilates and Zumba.
